I'd suggest contacting Lenovo support for your country directly (mail, e-ticket, phone) and see what can be done. In the event the charging issue has not been fixed at this point, then we might be looking at a faulty/dead battery that needs replacing. **Note: This will completely discharge the battery. Do this 2-3 times to see if the sensor normalizes. Charge the battery to full, then perform a discharge of the battery again. If the battery now charges and/or there might be a sensor issue, continue below: Connect the AC Adapter, then let the device charge for about 2 minutes (if it does) then start up as usual. Remove all cables attached to the device (power, hdmi, external mouse/keyboard, etc) *Note : If problems charging the device at all, try the other steps first, then static discharge if unsuccessful) In the worst-case scenario where a battery or adapter has failed entirely, replacing your laptop's problem component will solve the issue. And because the charge in my battery remains for a very short time so I have to use it plugged in. My battery isn't charged and I don't have any other battery so I have not checked yet but I am sure it will run on battery but didn't charge the battery. Does this mean something? Is that an error code? Sometimes when I plug the AC adapter to it, the battery led in the front panel blinks 3 times and then it stops. None of these made the notebook start up again. I've removed the HD and the RAM modules. I've tired powering the notebook without having tha battery attached to it. 
I've tested the AC adapter and it is giving the correct voltage. Now it seems something broke completely, so no power is being sent to the notebook. Actually, I've been having issues to charge the battery for some time, but it did work sometimes, so I could manage to continue using the notebook. The port's are getting current when I connect laptop to the AC power but the power doesnt turn on my notebook without battery or with battery. The notebook is not starting up on AC power or on battery. I have a LEnovo G560 notebook for some years now and I'm having a problem.
